We feel it’s of the utmost importance to reaffirm our hotel’s commitment to a clean and safe environment, in full compliance with official regulations.

As a certified medicinal hotel, Your health and safety were always of the utmost importance for us. Moreover, in the current situation, this is a top priority, which is why we purchased ozone generators that allow us to continuously disinfect the spaces and rooms of the hotel.

Your calm and safe recreation is supported by the efforts of external and in-house experts working in the field of water and food safety, healthcare, infection prevention and hotel operations. We are continuously monitoring and applying regulations and laws and conferring with professional and official agencies, including the National Public Health Centre, the Hungarian Hotel Association, the European Spas Association, the Hungarian Spa Association and the county chief medical officer to provide the highest level of safety for our guests and employees.

We have introduced the following measures because we are responsible for each other, including both our employees and guests.

SAFETY AT CARBONA

  • At the hotel, we use ozone generators to disinfect the rooms, community spaces and treatment rooms as well as other spaces.
  • After the departure of guests, we use ozone generators to disinfect and vacate hotel rooms for at least 12-24 hours.
  • Sensor-based hand sanitizers have been installed in multiple places throughout the hotel: including the entrance, reception, wellness facility and medical spa corridor, restaurant entrance and at bars and lifts.
  • We are disinfecting community spaces, washrooms and door handles with a much higher frequency than required.
  • For safety purposes, we kindly ask You to also regularly and thoroughly wash your hands and keep a distance of 1.5-2 meters from others (with the exception of those you live with, in the same household)!
  • Our employees are required to wear face masks in guest areas if they are not in possession of an immunity certificate.
  • For the sake of ensuring the completely safety of our guests, prior to reopening, all employees without an immunity certificate have taken COVID virus tests.
  • Our thoroughly prepared physicians are available at all hours.

Prior to arrival

  • Along with your room confirmation, we will provide you with access to our Safety at Carbona information material.
  • Should you display any symptoms indicative of illness prior to your arrival at Hotel Carbona, we kindly ask you to postpone your travels! You can reschedule your reservation for a later date, which we always handle flexibly.
  • You have the option of checking in online, allowing you to spend less time at the reception.

Upon arrival

  • Our receptionists are authorized to familiarize the data on the certificates, yet may not record said data.
  • For safety reasons, we have installed plexiglass shields at the reception and other dispatcher desks where guests come into direct contact with our employees.
  • The recommended 1,5-meter distance is indicated on the floor in front of the reception, guest relation and dispatcher counter.
  • If you were unable to check-in online, all you have to do is sign a check-in sheet completed in advance with your data, as long as we have access to your precise data.
  • We support credit card and contactless payments and at request, we will dispatch your invoice via e-email.
  • We are continuously disinfecting our credit card terminals.
  • Room cards will be provided to guests in a disinfected state.
  • Upon departure, you may drop your room cord into a collection box at the reception.
  • We can provide guests with face masks, when needed.
  • At your request, we will provide you with a print-out of our Safety at Carbona information material.

 

 

Cleaning procedures

  • We take particular care with all cleaning procedures.
  • We use ozone generators to disinfect community spaces, treatment and hotel rooms.
  • We use professional, anti-viral detergents in the hotel.
  • Washrooms located in community spaces are cleaned with increased frequency and precision.
  • Lift buttons, stair railings and door handles are disinfected with increased frequency.
  • The cleaning protocol of community spaces and rooms has been approved by the National Public Health Centre, the strict observance of which is our responsibility.

 

You can trust our employees

  • All employees have been provided with the appropriate protective gear.
  • Our employees have received training and are familiar with safety regulations.
  • We strictly monitor the observance of hygiene and safety protocol.
  • We continuously track and monitor the health condition of employees.
  • All employees are aware of the contents of the Safety at Carbona information material.
  • We are also carrying out intensified inspections amongst our Suppliers.

Our rooms

  • After the departure of our guests, we use ozone generators to disinfect or vacate hotel rooms for at least 12-24 hours.
  • When arranging the room distribution, we pay special attention to distancing in corridors.
  • Daily room cleaning is carried out with greater care and disinfection procedures, which means this might take more time than usual.
  • The daily cleaning of rooms – unless requested otherwise – are performed when guests are out of the room.
  • Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. Should you decide to forgo this, please contact the reception.

 

Attila restaurant

  • Our restaurant continues to offer a varied range of quality food and beverages.
  • Upon arrival, please use the hand sanitizer located at the entrance.
  • Tables and chairs have been positioned according to the current regulations in order to keep a safe distance.
  • We continue to operate an open-view kitchen.
  • In front of the entrance, at the buffet and during breakfast, the recommended 1.5 meter distance is indicated by markings on the floor.
  • In the kitchen, we continue to take special care to observe maximum HACCP-compliant food safety measures.
  • In all cases, our half-board service includes a buffet breakfast and buffet dinner.
  • In the case of full-board service, a 3-course or a la carte lunch is served in the Winter Garden, based on capacity, between noon and 2:00 pm.
  • We kindly ask you to disinfect your hands with the sensor-based hand sanitizer at the entrance.
  • Our hygienic dispensers offer a wide range of breakfast beverages (fruit juice, coffee).

 

Platán Café&Juice Bar

  • The bar continues to offer a wide range of quality dishes and beverages during the day.
  • Menus are replaced after every use.
  • The bar is open from 8:00 am. to 10:00 pm.
  • The tables and chairs on the terrace have been positioned according to the current regulations.

Lifts

  • The lifts are regularly disinfected.

Wellness-Medical Spa and Beauty

  • According to the current regulations, all our treatments are available for guests.
  • Please disinfect your hands before treatments with the sensor-based hand sanitizer!

Thermal spa, swimming pool and leisure pool

  • Flip flops / slippers are required in the bathing facility!
  • We kindly ask guests to shower before using the pools.
  • The recliners and deckchairs in guest spaces are positioned at the prescribed distances.
  • Our pools are disinfected according to regulations and the quality of the water is regularly inspected with the involvement of a certified laboratory.

Children’s playroom

  • The playroom, toys and other devices within the room are cleaned and disinfected several times.

Fitness gym

  • Our fitness gym has the following opening hours: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • The gym can only be used by hotel guests.
  • The fitness machines are disinfected several times a day.
  • We kindly ask you to disinfect the chosen devices before and after use with the disinfectant available in the gym.
